Event Panning Duties:
Plan events according to budgets set out by the Executive Director
Provide feedback and monthly reports to the Executive Director
Propose ideas to improve provided services and event quality
Organize facilities and manage all event details such as venue/location, dcor, catering, entertainment, parking for participants, hotel accommodations for participants, and promotional material. Spring and Fall conferences are to be planned one year prior to the event dates.
Create marketing and Public Relations communications to promote and publicize the event
Communicate clearly with participants (i.e., information they need to know prior to the event, attire, any updates)
Social Media Coordinator Duties:
Create a minimum of two social media posts per weeks across all platforms
Interact with users and respond to social media messages, inquiries, and comments
Create engaging content (written, video, and photo) for social media platforms
Maintain a unified brand voice across different social media platforms
Monitor other social media accounts to share to SECAs accounts
Reception Duties:
Provide excellent customer service for all clients/customers
Maintain, promote and update SECAs membership database
Administrative Duties:
Maintain professional development registration files, including updating the database
Preparation of all correspondence, staff reports, and written documentation requested by the Executive Director
Public Relations/Marketing Duties:
Develop a comprehensive list of community media resources for the distribution of SECA articles, information and announcements
Maintain up to date forms of posters, brochures, newsletters and website as requested by the Executive Director
