Description

Avena is seeking a Senior Sales and Marketing Associate to join our team on a full-time permanent basis. This position is remote, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work from any location. Reporting to VP, Sales and Marketing, the Senior Sales and Marketing Associate is a responsible, active member of the dynamic sales and marketing team of Avena Foods. As such, they will contribute to the planning and implementation of sales, marketing, and advertising activities.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a result-driven social media strategy.
- Develop engaging content for social media platforms.
- Attend events/shows and develop live content.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice across all social channels.
- Monitor social channels for trends.
- Support and develop inside sales
- Review analytics, create reports and develop plans to improve performance.
- Manage daily administrative tasks and support the sales staff in building sales records, developing CRM skills and enabling them to use NetSuite.
- Qualify website and telephone leads, forwarding them to the appropriate sales director.
- Coordinate and provide technical services for Avena run webinars and other on-line events.
- Grow the MailChimp subscriber list.
- Develop a PowerPoint presentation that introduces Avena and the scoop and benefits of the PIC project

Qualifications
Passion for social media and proficient with major platforms.
Proficiency with video and photo editing tools.
Excellent social listening skills.
Bachelors degree.
Some knowledge of Food Science.
Excellent communication skills (email, phone, etc.)
Ability to build positive relationships with customers and other members of the team.
Computer literacy. This position requires continual use of the computer system.
