Description

Dream is looking for a Warranty Service Technician

Dream is looking for a Warranty Service Technician to provide our homeowners exceptional customer service and act as a dedicated resource to address requests and enhance the home buying/ownership experience.

What will you do?
Meet with homeowners to investigate and assess listed deficiencies/conciliation items;  Work with the Customer Experience Administrator to delegate, organize and coordinate repair work;  Perform repair, warranty and service tasks as required when trade cannot be assigned to the repair;  Establish and maintain relationships by working closely with many external vendors and various internal departments as the liaison to ensure all outstanding work and deficiencies are completed;  Effectively communicate and coordinate construction seasonal matters homeowners;  Track data and warranty requests in CRM (Builder Trend) and JDE Homebuilder.;  Assisting Construction with site work, safety rails, stairs, check outs, site checks, site cleans, trade management, seasonal work.

What type of experience and skills do you have?
Experience in residential home construction. Experience in a similar customer service position would be an asset;   Trade certificate in Construction or equivalent is preferred;  Total housing component knowledge is required - Construction skills (carpentry, finishing), national building code and interpretations;  Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office  experience with JDE Homebuilder & Hyphen is an asset;  Safety certifications such as First Aid, Safety Construction Orientation Training, Fall Protection, WHMIS, Fire Safety & Extinguisher use would be an asset;  Flexible, with the willingness and ability to travel daily to assigned sites; and Must have a valid drivers license
