We have an immediate opening for a Sr. Process and Project Engineer. Reporting directly to the Construction Director, the successful applicant will be involved in a broad range of activities and projects at our Chaplin sodium sulphate mining operation.

The Sr. Process and Project Engineers principal responsibility will be to support the design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operation of a major facility expansion project at our Chaplin process mill.  Other projects range from trouble shooting production issues, designing and implementing improvements, maintenance projects, turnaround planning, ensuring product quality control, involvement in research and development, and brining operations. Some travel is required.

The ideal candidate must be a graduate of a suitable engineering program from a recognized University. They must be registered as a Professional Engineer in Saskatchewan with a minimum of 10 years of experience.  A Project Management Professional certification is an asset.

Applicants must have experience with sizing process equipment, process simulation and design, process safety reviews (HAZOP), and project management of major capital projects.

The Chaplin office is open from 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday. This position qualifies for full benefits paid by the company, matching pension plan, and additional profit related bonuses. Base compensation will be dependent upon experience and education.
