The Healthcare Human Resources (HHR) Branch of the Ministry of Health leads and supports health workforce planning and policy; incentive and recruitment programs; strategic initiatives and advice; and labour relations.
The Research and Analysis Unit within the HHR Branch is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented individual with strong policy research and data analysis skills for a 2-year term. The successful candidate will join a team that is responsible for researching, forecasting, analyzing and assessing the health human resource needs of the province. This position will work with a variety of health, post-secondary education and government stakeholders.
To join this challenging, innovative and supportive working environment, the successful candidate will have practical knowledge and proficiency in policy analysis/development, research and analysis techniques, and data presentation.
The knowledge and skills required for this position would have been gained through the completion of a degree in economics, public policy, public administration, statistics, applied mathematics, computer science or a related discipline, coupled with experience in data and policy analysis.
