A Parts Purchaser is responsible for ordering, inventory replenishment to meet the stores stock demands on a weekly basis. Order accordingly for Rouse Manufacturing with the direction of sales department based on the current manufacturing needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain vendor relationship to meet supply chain needs.
- Develop new vendor relationships.
- Purchase at the best possible price to maximize best pricing for our customers and keep manufacturing costs as low as possible.
- Work with supervisor on special projects as needed.
- Meet day to day tasks and order deadlines.
- Experience in managing and doing business, globally.
- Responsible for PO creation.
- Returns processing
- Strategic Planning
- Parts counters sales if needed.
- Parts take parts on call on rotation.
- Supply Tracking
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Experience working-in Manufacturing, Trucking, Agricultural or Industrial back ground would be a great asset.
- Must be able to multi-task and must be detailed orientated.
- Ability to identify new stocking potential items.
- Analytical thinking.
- Fluent computer skills ability to learn different programs.
- Customer relations
