Express Employment Professionals is looking for candidates for a general warehousing position with a top client of ours in the industrial parts industry. The ideal candidate will have at least 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse environment, excellent problem solving skills and a great work ethic. This position will start as a 6 month contract position but will have the potential to turn permanent for the right individual. Additionally, we are also on the hunt for a warehouse lead, so if you have a highly experienced warehouse background and or experiencing as a team lead please apply to this ad!

Job Duties:
Various tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, picking, stocking, staging, and transportation of goods.
Load and unload materials to and from designated storage area.
Stack or pile materials.
Verify physical count of stock and compare to computations.
Interacting with installers and subcontractors to receive/fill orders, sell supplies, materials and products.
Maintaining a safe and clean work area.
Following company safety policies and encouraging other associates to do the same.
Other duties as required.

Job Requirements:
Exceptional customer service & people skills.
At least 1-2 years experience in a similar capacity.
Problem solving skills, ability to select correct processes from prescribed rules, best practices or instruction.
Ability to seek advice and guidance on non-routine or problem areas from a supervisor.
Good physical condition, with the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly. Standing for periods of time up to and exceeding 60 minutes.
Ability to make repetitive movements, ect.
Must possess at least 3 years of advanced warehouse experience or experience in a team lead function to be considered for other "Lead Warehouse" position.
