Description

We are very excited to be growing Sandbox Mutual Insurance.  We are on the search for a permanent full-time IT Support Technician.  Reporting to the Manager, Technology, the successful candidate will serve as the first point of contact for staff and customers seeking technical support. In this role, the IT Support Technician will support the technological needs of Sandbox and assist users with technical issues, manage hardware and software installations, and ensure systems are up to date and secure. This role demands a balance of technical knowledge and customer service skills. Essential skills include a strong understanding of operating systems, IT systems, networking, strong problem-solving abilities, and superior customer service skills.
As IT Support Technician YOU Will Be Responsible For
Respond and provide technical support to end-users in a way that is efficient, and customer focused.
Effectively triage support requests and assign to appropriate personnel.
Diagnose and solve technical issues, including account, system, phone, application, and other IT related inquiries.
Recommend, install, deploy, decommission, and maintain hardware, software, and applications according to organizational roles.
Deploy new and replacement systems using the most efficient methods.
Perform general maintenance, troubleshooting, and coordinate maintenance escalation if required, of printers and other vendor provided equipment.
Create and maintain procedural documentation for technology use. Provide step by step guidance to non-technical users to solve their technical issues.
