The Public Service Commission is the central human resource agency for the Government of Saskatchewan. The Commission provides leadership and policy direction to all ministries to enable a high-performing and innovative professional public service. The Commission works with ministries to ensure effective workforce management by supporting delivery of foundational services such as staffing and classification, and strategic support including labour relations and organizational development.

The Talent Branch, of the Public Service Commission,is seeking two initiative-taking, detail-oriented, and collaborative Human Resource Staffing Coordinators to join our team for up to 16 months. This position will provide dedicated support to the Ministry of Corrections, Policing and Public Safety (CPPS)/PSC Talent Team Pilot Project.
Typically, the knowledge and experience required to achieve the above is obtained through:
- A two-year Business Administration diploma, combined with work experience in a similar role;
- Knowledge of Human resource policy, procedures, and systems such as competency-based staffing, and HR databases;
- An advanced ability using a variety of computer software applications such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint and Adobe Acrobat); and
- Knowledge of office management and government administrative protocols.
