Facility: Nurses Alumni Wing
Job Description: The incumbent will provide psychological assessments, psycho-educational, behavioral and family assessments in regard to children and youth exhibiting emotional/behavioral difficulties and mental health issues/disorders. The incumbent will complete psychological assessment reports and will provide individual, group and family counselling in both mental health and school settings. The incumbent will report to the Manager of Youth MHAS and must be able to work under the direction of the clinical supervisor and collaborate with school and mental health staff. The incumbent will geographically divide their time the Prairie Spirit School Division and Youth Mental Health Services by providing services in both settings.
Required Qualifications

Masters Degree in Psychology or Clinical Psychology or Educational Psychology
Must have a current practicing registration with Sask. College of Psychologists with an Authorized Practice Endorsement
Experience
- Supervised training in assessment, differential diagnosis and intervention with youth exhibiting mental health issues and mental health disorders.
- Experience in using various counselling techniques/approaches that are proven to be research and evidence based with children, youth and their families.
- Experience in providing consultation to schools and other community agencies in regards to mental health issues affecting children and youth.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to collaborate effectively with community and school personnel.
Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
Advanced organizational skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
