Job Description: The RAI Coordinator is a member of the Clinical Integration Team who works closely with frontline staff and management to liaise, consult, educate and support the Resident Assessment Instrument/Minimum Data Set (RAI/MDS)assessments and the supporting platforms. This includes planning, implementation and ongoing evaluation of the programming related to RAI/MDS as well as clinical support in utilizing client/resident outcomes to
facilitate client/resident directed care.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Nursing or Bachelor Degree in Psychiatric Nursing
Registered or eligible for registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
Valid Class 5 driver's license
Experience
A minimum of five (5) years current experience in long term care or home care and demonstrated experience in MDS systems and interpreting outcomes and managing resources and projects. Experience with staff development and training. Demonstrated sound nursing judgement, initiative and critical thinking. Demonstrated comprehension of assessment, classification, initiate and critical thinking. Proven consultative and interpersonal
skills in order to interact with medical staff, nursing staff, clients and other disciplines. Demonstrated ability to direct and facilitate change. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Demonstrated flexibility, creativity and self-direction.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to competently use computers and software applications as required by the position
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team to manage complex and multiple demands
