What is the SaskJobs Job Posting Service?

If your job is located in Saskatchewan and you are using SaskJobs for the first time, you can fill out the SaskJobs Job Order form and submit it by email or fax to your nearest Canada-Saskatchewan Career and Employment Services (CSCES). CSCES will also accept your registration by phone. All you need is your official business name, address, postal code, a contact person, and phone number.

Why do I have to register?

Registering your business ensures that the jobs posted are from authentic employers and provides some critical information to be used in posting jobs. You will receive a login name and password that will allow you to post any additional or future jobs using an on-line account.

How do I post jobs?

There are three ways for an employer to post a job:
  1. Contact CSCES: Staff will help you post on SaskJobs.

  2. By Email/Mail/Fax: Employers can complete our Job Order Form and return it to the nearest CSCES office.

  3. Online: A registered employer can post a job opportunity directly on SaskJobs by going to www.saskjobs.ca and following these How to Post Jobs instructions.
I want to review resumes of prospective employees. Can SaskJobs help?

Yes. Registered employers can search for prospective employees by using the Resume Search feature. SaskJobs lets you enter key words for the type of skill you are seeking and it will search the resume databank for you.
  1. Once you are registered as an Employer and have your login name and password go to the Employer Login screen and login to your employer account.

  2. On your account's Main Menu page click on the button near the bottom of the screen that says "View Resumes".

  3. Select the Job Grouping that most closely matches the type of job you are trying to fill.

  4. To narrow your results even more enter a keyword(s) for the skills you are looking for and click on search.
SaskJobs will list all the resumes which contain the skills you are looking for. The rest is up to you. It's that easy.
